Oct 15 DT reveals

Hey hey everyone, its the 15th so that means more DT reveals!  First up is our textured challenge over at Boy Meets Girl.  I created a layout featuring my beautiful niece De'Zhane'.  I love playing with modeling paste, I feel like a kid with play doh!

Oct 1st DT reveals

Hey everyone, its already been a crazy week and its just hump day!  I have a couple of DT reveals for you today.  First up is our Grunge challenge over at Boy Meets Girl.  This was my first grunge layout and I will admit it had me scared at first but I got past it and ended up with a page I love!  I think I may do this more often!

 

Next up is the first of our last 2 challenges at Use Your Words.  Our first word for the month of October is Family.  This layout was a little out of my comfort zone as well but wanted to try something new.  You know quite a few collections have those little strips at the bottom of each paper so I put those to work.  Talk about getting my money's worth!  Sorry the layout is a bit wrinkled, the grand baby got a hold of it and I didnt know it!  LOL.

Mid Month Design Team Reveals

Hello scrappy friends, its the middle of the month so we know what that means right?  New DT challenges and reveals!

First up is my DT reveal for About a Boy.  Our current challenge is Anything Goes.  You heard it right, anything goes so you can create your layout no holds barred!  The only criteria of course is your subject matter must be male.

I created a page using my AC papers and photos of me and the hubby.

Next Up is AAB's sister blog, About a Girl.  Our current challenge is White Space.  I hate white space layouts because it always appears there is something missing.  Some people are wonderful at creating white space layouts, I am not one of them, but I gave it a shot.  Here is a layout featuring my youngest granddaughter. 

And last but not least is the new challenge blog Use Your Words.  Our current word challenge is BELIEVE.  I recently obtained my Master's Degree in Criminal Justice which is my 3rd degree.  I am not bragging but I am proud and it just goes to show that you can achieve anything if you put in the work and BELIEVE!

August Design Team Reveal

Good morning all, its August 1st and that means reveal day for me on many of my teams!  First up is About a Girl (AAG).  Our August 1st challenge is to create a layout using one color, and that color must be the color in your photo.  I decided to use some AC papers and this great photo of my granddaughter.  Hope you like!

Next up is About a Boy.  We have a Back to School challenge going on over there.  The challenge is simply to create a layout using a school photo.  Easy right?  Well for this challenge I went waaaaaaayyyy back and scrapped one of my son's middle school photos.  He is nearly 24 now.  Where does the time go?  I tell you what, I miss the boy in this picture!

And last but certainly not least, my new challenge blog is Use Your Words.  This is where each challenge we give you ONE word and you must use it to create your layout.  The word has to be either in your title or journaling.  Our word for August 1 is moment and therefore my Beautiful Moments collection from Carta Bella was perfect for this layout of me and my other half:-).
