Scrap the Boys-Feb 1 (The Great Outdoors)

Hello everyone, I am truly excited to share my first DT reveal for Scrap the Boys.  I really needed this team to "make" me scrap my grandson more.  I tend to be drawn more so towards my girls and all the pretty papers lol

For this month's challenge over at STB, you are to draw inspiration from the theme below.

I used an old collection from Authentique (the name escapes me at the moment) along with some embellishments from other kits.  Basically made it all work lol.

August Challenges

Hey all, I decided to play along with a couple non LGS challenges this month.  This is the first time in a LONG time since I have done this!  First up I joined the scraplift challenge over at Paper Issues. The challenge is to lift the layout below:

And here is my take on the lift.

I also wanted to play along with this month's scrap the boys challenge which is to create a layout using a not so happy photo of my little man and I had the PERFECT photo for it so I created an almost replica version of the layout above because I loved the set up so much!  Sorry for the dark photo, but in case you cant tell, he is throwing a temper tantrum on the studio floor, the photographer captured that as well lol

I changed up a few of the embellishments but for the most part, I lifted the lift!  LOL

Well that's all for now, thanks for stopping by!

Scrap the Boys

Well its challenge time again over at Scrap the Boys and I really love the one they have up for February.  With this challenge you are to create a layout of you and your son together inspired by love.  Well since my son is 23 and hates taking pictures I decided to create a page featuring my daughter and my grandson.  What better collection to use than the Echo Park Yours collection.  This is one of my favorite Valentine's Day collections.  I wish I had bought more, I only have a few more pieces left in my stash!  Anyway, here they are my daughter Nikkole and my grandson Nehemiah.  TFL!

Scrap The Boys-Favorite Holiday

This year I have vowed to myself that I would scrap more of my grandson's photos.  I typically seem to scrap more of my granddaughters than him simply because I get to use lots of funs flowers and bling on theirs but this year will be different and to start it off I decided to play along with Scrap the Boys January Challenge.  For this challenge you are to create a layout of your boy's favorite holiday or summer activity.  Nehemiah loves Christmas so I decided to complete Christmas layout for this challenge.  This is a photo of he and I a last Christmas BEFORE the terrible twos LOL.  Thanks for looking!
