Happy Sunday all.  Today I am sharing this week's DT reveals for Lets Get Sketchy and Colorful Creations.

For this sketch I used a very old collection from Echo Park called About a Boy.  I have had bits and pieces of it in my stash for years so I finally decided to finish it off and this is what I came up with.

Design Team Reveals

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great holiday on yesterday  Today I am here with 2 DT reveals.  First up my reveal over at Stick it Down.  This is a new challenge sites with a bunch of fun sketches so make sure you check us out!

Next up is yesterday's reveal over at Let's Get Sketchy, below is the sketch we had to work with.  I will be honest and tell you this sketch gave me fits!  LOL.  I had the hardest time with it, I think it took me about a week to figure out what I wanted to do with it.  

Here is what I came up with, I veered a bit but I think I kept the overall concept of the sketch

July 15 Design Team Reveals

Hello fellow scrappers, happy monday!  Today is the 15th so this is a major DT reveal day for me.  I have lots of wonderful projects to share with you today.  Lets start with Lets Get Sketchy.  This week we had a wonderful sketch by team member Ashley Horton.  I liked this sketch instantly!   I decided to create a layout of my granddaughter Amiyah using a photo I had been dying to use.  I like it so much I used it 3 times in this layout!  The Simple Stories Vintage Bliss is perfect for this photo dont you think?

Next up is the current challenge over at About a Girl.  Our mid month challenge for you is to use the sketch and this recipe (torn paper and flowers).  For this layout I dug into my Prima collection of papers.  I knew I wanted a vintage look for this and this Prima Almanac collection was perfect for this Easter photo of my youngest granddaughter Jayla. Wouldnt you agree?

Time to catch the waves over at About a Boy.  We want you to create a layout showcasing water in some way.  Time to pull out those summer beach and pool pictures.  For this challenge naturally I had to create a layout of my grandson Nehemiah.  Fancy Pants Down By the Shore collection was perfect for this!  This is a photo of him from just this summer in the pool.  He didnt want to get in at first but that soon changed!

Last but certainly not we want you to tell us your STORY over at Use Your Words.  UYW is a brand new challenge blog created by yours truly where we focus on creating projects just by using one word that we give to you.  Your project does NOT have to be a layout, it can be a card, mixed media or even altered art.  We have a wonderfully talented Design Team who is just ready to inspire you so please go check us out!  For my "story" I created a layout of me and my handsome fiancee' he is the love of my life and a wonderful man.  They just dont make men like him anymore.  My story is located behind our photo as I didnt want it all to be public lol.

Monday Design Team Reveals

Good morning all, its Monday so you know what that means??? Reveal Day and boy do I have a line up for you today.

My first reveal comes from Let's Get Sketchy.  We were given this wonderful sketch by Jenessa to work with.  At first I was a little intimidated by all the circles but I got creative and this is what I came up with.

 Its a layout of my son and granddaughter at the beach.  I get so few pictures of them together as my son hates taking pictures and I so wanted to scrap this one.  So I took out my new favorite piece of equipment (my Cameo) and this is what I came up with.  It turned out pretty nice.  I used up the last little bit of this paper line from Echo Park and I love it!  Please go on over to LGS to check out the rest of the DT inspiration we have for you!

Next up is About a Boy.  Our mid-month challenge for you is The Artist.  If you want to know more about this challenge then hop on over to AAB to check it out.    Here is my artwork from my 2 year old grandson who decided his room door and walls were the perfect canvas on which to write!

Last but not least we have our reveal over at The Paper Mixing Bowl where we were given this wonderful recipe to work with.
