Frosted Design DT Reveal

Good morning everyone, it's Brenshevia once again bringing you my project using the wonderful July Enchanted kit from Frosted Designs.  I cannot begin to tell you how much I love, LOVE the colors in this kit!! Everything in this kit goes so well together and it crosses over beautifully with the August Summer's End kit!  I threw in a few Prima flowers I had in my stash and what you see below is the result.  I think it turned out great, how about you?  

Frosted Designs

Hey everyone, I totally lost track of time and forgot to post my latest Frosted Designs Friday challenge which was to use stitching and flowers.  My stitching is on the butterfly, hand-stitched seam.  I created this layout using their wonderful July kit showcasing beautiful Prima papers.  I finally got to use some of the flowers I have had in my stash for years!  TFL!

Reveal Day~Let's Get Sketchy & Frosted Designs

Happy Monday all!  Its reveal day once again for me over at Lets Get Sketch and Frosted Designs.  First up is LGS.  This is Team A's week and we had a wonderful sketch from yours truly to work with this week.

I redid this page 3 times before finally settling on this final attempt.  I just couldn't get it to come together like I envisioned until I used one of the great cut files from A Cutt Above.  I took the Sunburst Background and used it as my base for the layout along with some papers from the Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine Collection and this photo of my beautiful niece.

Next up is my reveal over at Frosted Designs.  Again I used a wonderful heart background cut file from A Cutt Above as my base along with the Love You Always collection which is available at the Frosted Designs Store.  Make sure you pop on over to Frosted Designs and A Cutt Above to grab yours!  TFL!

Design Team Reveal -Frosted Designs

Hey all its time for another DT reveal.  This time is Frosted Designs and I am showcasing their beautiful May kit.  I was so happy to be able to do something shabby chic again, its been so long!  If you havent shopped the FD store, you dont know what you are missing!

Next up is my DT reveal from Frosted Designs.  Yes I am a little late posting this but what else is new lol. My challenge was Stars and Stripes so I used some wonderful papers from the Elle's Studio Collection Everyday Moments which can be purchased from the Frosted Designs Store along with many other wonderful scrappy goodies!

DT Reveal- Frosted Designs

Me again, I almost forgot. Today is my DT reveal over at Frosted Designs.  Make sure you go check out the wonderful challenges and products.  I used my Pink Paislee Hey Kid Collection along with a wonderful sketch by Laura Whitaker.  Not sure if I am totally loving the finished product but here it is.  TFL!

Frosted Designs Reveal

Hello everyone, its Brenshevia again with another layout featuring some of the wonderful products from the Frosted Designs store! I will tell you that I have certainly gotten my money’s worth from this collection! I just love the colors in the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss line. 

I literally pieced this page together…….this page was created from leftover scraps I had from some of the previous pages I had completed using this kit. From top to bottom it is literally nothing but scraps! I used some scraps to create half a sunburst, I have been sunburst crazy this year, I just love the different ways you can use sunbursts to design your pages and they are also good for using up those scraps! Frosted Designs DT Reveal

Hey, hey, hey everyone Brenshevia here with another wonderful project from Frosted Designs featuring product from our wonderful store!  As we all know Halloween is just a few days away. Normally I do not do a lot of seasonal projects BUT this year I couldn't resist a chance to use the wonderful Happy Haunting Collection from Carta Bella.

This collection has the "traditional" Halloween colors which I find easier to work with.  Because Halloween 2013 has not yet arrived, I was forced to use photos of my grand kids from last year, better late than never right?!  So without further ado allow me to introduce my first project from this collection featuring all 3 grand babies.

In addition to the wonderful products from the Frosted Designs store I also used my Cameo to created the most wonderful embellishments which were cut using papers from the Happy Haunting line.

Frosted Designs Team Reveal

Hey everybody, Brenshevia here and its my turn to host the Frosted Designs bi-weekly challenge.  My challenge for today is Kraft, Flair and Chipboard Oh My!  For this challenge we would like you to use kraft paper, flair and chipboard on your project. Yep! We want to see all three!  

I decided to go with Pink Paislee's Hey Kid Collection.  I fell in love with this collection the first time I saw it!  So in addition to the Hey Kid Collection  I used a kraft placemat from Jillibean, chipboard chevron confetti  from the Frosted Design store and came up with this layout featuring photos from my most recent Disney trip with my family~

Frosted Designs Beautiful Life Reveal

Wow I almost forgot today was my reveal day over at Frosted Designs! Where has my head been all day!  Today was my day to reveal my project using some of the wonderful items found in the Frosted Design store.

For my project I used my handy dandy Cameo and the Echo Park Beautiful Life 6x6 pack.  I decided to go this route because I wanted to show you that this is just one of many ways you can put those 6x6 packs to work for you.  I typically don't purchase them but decided to go ahead and give it a shot and I am glad I did as the end result was wonderful!  So hope on over to FD to check out more about this project and to get a few close ups!

Sorry for the bad lighting.  I have the hardest time taking great photos of layouts done on white background.  They always tend to have a blue tint to them...........

Mid Month DT Reveals

Hello everyone I have finally had a chance to check in and update my blog.  This has been a crazy month for me.  So much going on in my personal life that I cant begin to explain.  But you didnt come here for that.  Today I have a few DT reveals for you (yes they are late because I just got back from a week long vacation) but better late than never right???

First up is this week's sketch over at LGS created by the lovely Jenessa.  I turned the sketch a bit for a different look.  Also please remember that LGS is starting their very own online magazine and are taking publications for it up until Oct 1st.  Its going to be a smash so make sure you get those submissions in!

Next up is my 3x3 layout over at Frosted Designs.  FD is revamped a bit to include adding a kit club as well as a store.  They have some great items so come check it out!  For this layout we has to:

I went with stars, circles and hearts.  This is a layout of my son and granddaughter Amiyah.  I love these pictures of them!

Next up is the 123 Get Scrappy challenge where our board this week is this:

I had a time with these hexagons but love the end result.  I used tree(in the picture), rhinestones, and washi tape.

The current challenge over at About a Girl is Flowers, Flowers, Flowers, need I say more?  This is my beautiful niece Deja, I swear she needs to be a model!

The challenge at About A Boy is a sketch challenge.  The sketch is by none other than yours truly :-)

and last but not least is our Sweet challenge over at Use Your Words.  Again this layout is featuring my oldest granddaughter Amiyah.  I have been wanting to scrap this picture forever and finally got my chance!

Design Team Reveals

Happy Monday everyone (if there is such a thing!) today I have a couple reveal to share with you.  First up is Lets Get Sketchy, dont you just love this site???  Our sketch this week is by team member Ashley Horton, her sketches are wonderful!

And here is my layout featuring my oldest granddaughter.  I have had this photo of her for a while and wanted to scrap it but could not find the right papers until now.  Isn't she "fabulous"?

Next up is my Saturday (yeah I know I am a couple of days late...lol) reveal over at Frosted Design.  Our challenge for you this week is Chipboard.  How isnt is that??  We all have some laying about somewhere.  Again my grandchildren are the focus of my layout.  Here you see again my oldest granddaughter and my only grandson.  This picture was taken a couple of summers ago but I love these photos of them together.

Frosted Designs Embossing Challenge

Hello everyone, Happy Monday!   I was sick over the weekend so I did not get a chance to post my DT reveal for Frosted Designs.  Our challenge this week is embossing!  I must tell you, this one had me stomped, I am not an "embosser" so I cheated a bit and bought some paper that was already embossed and went from there........lol. Shhhh dont tell Barb!

Anyways, here is what I came up with.  This is my youngest granddaughter when she was only a couple months old.  She is now about to turn one next month and is nothing but trouble! TFl!

Frosted Designs Saturday Reveal

Happy Monday everyone!  I trust you all had a safe holiday weekend!  Well its Monday so you know what that means for me???? June 1st Design Team Reveals

Hiya everyone, happy Monday.  Today I have lots of wonderful DT reveals for you.  Lets start with Let's Get Sketchy!   We have a wonderful sketch up today at LGS from our talented team member Jenessa.  I flipped the sketch and used this beautiful line from Carta Bella showcasing both of my beautiful granddaughters in their Easter dresses this past Easter.

Next up is About a Boy, our June 1st challenge is :  Favorite summer or holiday activity.  For this challenge I scrapped a photo of my great nephew at his church dedication.  He was only a few months old at the time so he has not favorite activity yet lol but I need to finish his book so I had to work with what I had.

About a Boy has a "sister" blog called............you got it About a Girl.  Our June 1st challenge there is dollies.  I know some people dont like working with them but I love them!  For this layout I scrapped a photo of my niece Deja.  I was working on book for her graduation this week so this is one of the pages in the book.  She needs to be a model, she is so photogenic!

And last but not least is my Saturday DT reveal over at Frosted Designs where our theme is punches.  For this layout I used a photo of my oldest granddaughter Amiyah and some very old Echo Park papers.  I just wanted to get them out of my stash to make room for more!  LOL
